Sometimes the grass looks greener on the other side!
I guess you´ve heard the expression the grass is always greener on the other side. What it means is that often we believe that what others have is better than what we have. But is it true?
Let´s, like always, look at examples:
Peter has an amazing girlfriend and wonderful life. That´s how it appears it to you. She´s gorgeous, sexy, and seems like so much fun. But what´s the story behind the story. Peter finds it really tough. She´s a beautiful girl but high maintenance. She´s always flirting with others, she´s always the centre of attention. He finds it tough trying to keep her happy and please her. He sees you and thinks exactly the same. He´d love to have your life. Ok Peter can be substituted for Paula, who´s boyfriend is gorgeous but a flirt etc. The point is that sometimes we don´t know what is really happening on the other side of the fence!
