Bring hope into your life
I see it a lot I have to say, people walking in the streets without hope. A dead look in their eyes, hollow if you will. And I think that it can affect all of us to be honest, we can all feel a bit hopeless now and again. So how can you avoid that feeling? How can you get happiness back in your life. Being happy means that you have hope for the future.
Believe me the feeling of not having hope, of not having light at the end of the tunnel is the worst feeling in the world. And yes I have been there, luckily that was many years ago. When we feel there is no hope we in effect give up even trying. We don’t believe things will improve so we just give up. It’s not a good place to be in.
It takes a lot to find hope when you think there is none, but I hope this blog article will either help you, or help you help another.
Remember no matter how bad things seem there is always a choice that you can make that will make things better. You may not believe it but there is light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to look for that glimmer of light and then follow it no matter what.
The first thing to remember is we all have challenges in our lives. So it is not unusual. However it is how we deal with them. Do we do nothing and let them mount up or do we take action?
You have to believe you can come out the other side.
When you are feeling a little bit down why not try the following, yes it may be hard but you need to try:
Consider all the great things you have achieved in your life. Although you might think that you have not achieved something, the fact is you have. Don’t compare yourself to others, you are yourself. When we are feeling down sometimes we forget all the things that we can do and have done. So take 5 minutes to reflect on this.
Seek out positivity and optimism. We all know people who seek out the “bright side of life” And I always say why not, better to look on the bright side rather than seek out the bad things in life. These are the type of people who see the glass has half full rather than half empty. They are also the type of people that say, great I have 2 days still of my holidays rather than saying man I only 2 days left of my holidays.
From now on try to spend time with positive people as the more you spend time with the them the more positive and optimistic you will become. If you hang out with negative people their negativity will rub off on you.
Do everything you can to be inspired. Think about what could inspire you if you were in the mood. I know you might not be now, but what if you were in the mood what would inspire you?.
- Revisit the simple things in life, like taking a walk, looking at the birds, watching people go by. Let everything bring you inspiration
- What about listening to your favorite music, or looking through old photographs?
- You could listen to or buy books on self development or read about others who have had success in their lives.
Get to be one with nature. Nature is amazing and for me can provide inspiration. Just wtching the sea, or looking at the mountain views always makes me feel better. Find a local park or street you have not visited and take everything in.
Yes life can seem hopeless at times, but remember you find more of what you seek. Therefore if you feel hopeless and feel nothing is good enough, it is unfortunate but you will find it hard to
However I do have to say that if you really are finding life to hard and difficult please do find professional help. My strategies can help some people but maybe not everyone. Remember that you must look for the ways to bring the light into your life
