You are here, searching for an answer
You have likely bought self help products or trainings that have not gotten you the results that you want. Was it something like this: a fancy review or video that promised you that in just a few days, you would know all the secrets you needed to have the perfect life? Yeah, I know the page.
And it may not be your fault. I’ve bought into stuff like that. So have many thousands or millions of others. In fact, did you know there are people online who make a living just selling dreams to people who will never get results?
That’s right. And many times those products are empty – not literally, but in their meaning. Because you can study 10 hours of training, watch videos, read tutorials – but you know how it is, you get stuck. You literally CANNOT move forward and you don’t know why.
Here’s the thing, there are some specific steps that must occur in order to change your life. And if all of those elements aren’t in place, you probably aren’t going to see any dramatic. Period.
What about you?
Have you tried to make changes in your life before only to find:
It works for a few days and then you revert back to your old ways?
You give up before you even start?
You set the goals and nothing happens
What is holding you back the success that you want?
The truth of the matter is this: you can blame the audios you bought.
You can blame the bad training you have received.
You can blame your boss.
You can blame the weather.
The fact is the only person you can blame is yourself! Sorry to be blunt but someone has to say it.
However, having said that, it’s not your fault because you’ve not started at the core element which is analysing yourself and how you work.
I mean do you really know what you want?
Do you know what you have achieved so far in life?
Perhaps you started to change your life a year or two ago, you were thinking that by now you would already have made those dramatic changes and be where you wanted to be.
You were excited about all the wonderful things that were going to happen to you – and you were thinking that by now, you would have all that, right?
So what happened?
- Perhaps you started by creating a new year resolution.
- Perhaps you invested in some self help audios.
- Maybe you wrote out some goals.
- Or maybe when you sit down to make some changes in your life , you know so much about what to do that you get overwhelmed with what is the exact next step for today.
You see, you might have a list of 100 things or 1000 things that you need to do to be successful.
You got that list by accumulating all the different things you have learned from many different people.
And maybe you have thought that if you just did all of them, then you would have success.
But in reality, it’s impossible to do everything.
Successful people don’t.
In fact, although successful people tend to work smarter, and with more perserverance than unsuccessful people, they don’t always do more things.
Successful people tend to be highly focused, and work on a few very specific things that get results for them.
In order to be highly focused I have found that I have made major changes in my life by using a journal.
I don’t try and record everything that’s why I ask myself only 5 questions a day
The truth of the matter is this: you need a journal!
- You need to write things down so you can figure them out.
- You need to reflect on your life thus far and see what you need to improve.
- You need to take time to figure out who you are before you can decide who you want to be.
How would it feel if within the next 14 days you could see positive change?
Would it feel good, like, yeah, I can really do this?
That’s what working with my journals will be like!
Listen you don’t want to continue down that path of wishing and hoping, do you?
In fact, I think that’s why you are reading this – because you want to change your life once and for all, right?
You want to finally make things happen so that you have the success you deserve.
Here’s the thing – I don’t know what your definition of success is.
It might be earning $3000 a month, it might be a living in a converted VW camper van and travelling the world!
And you can do either.
So let me ask you this, what kind of life do you need so that you will be able to live the life you desire?
I mean, really, what would that really mean for you?
- Leave your job and start your own business?
- Create a living by writing or painting?
- Would it mean that you could pay off all your debts so that you never have to owe anyone anything anymore?
- Perhaps you just want to feel more connected to the world.
- Finding your true calling could change your life.
- Maybe your goals are just to have your little house by the sea and live without worrying about whether you will make it to the end of the month
- Would it mean that you could take your family on a one month vacation anywhere in the world you want to go?
Here’s the thing – as you know, what you have been doing isn’t working. It’s not working because you aren’t living the life you want to.
Here’s the issue
You have too much information.
It would be like learning how to swim or do karate or snowboard, and instead of having one person telling you what to do, there are 50 coaches standing on the sideline, simultaneously screaming out what to do next. You would get utterly confused and overwhelmed, right? I know I would!
Read this carefully:
- You probably already KNOW more than enough to make the changes in your life that you want, the problem is, you don’t know which part of what you know is relevant to you.
- And until you have decided who you are and what you want you’re not going to be able to move forward.
- The truth of the matter is this: lack of information isn’t why you aren’t living the life you want right now.
- You probably have hundreds of hours of training and information on your harddrive right now.
- You probably own multiple self help books.
- And the truth of the matter is, when you listen to all this training, you probably think, yeah, this is great information, this could work for me.
But it doesn’t.
Either because you don’t do it right.
Or because you don’t do it at all, because tomorrow you decide to do something else.
So if information isn’t the answer, what is?
Why aren’t most people living the life that they want, when there is more information than ever before ready for the taking?
Here’s the thing, some people are.
I know people who are at a state of happiness that they never thought possible.
What’s different with these people?
Why aren’t you there yet?
One reason is that you just don’t know what to do.
They know what the next step is, every single day when they wake up in the morning . . . and they do it!
Let’s face it, even with hundreds of hours of training on your harddrive – you STILL don’t know what you very next step is.

If there is one thing I have learned over the last 10 years it is this: you have to be grateful for what you have no matter what it is. Everyday you should find one or two things you are grateful for as being grateful makes you a better person and allows you to give further thanks for what you have.
What Will All This Do For Me?
The first step to self improvement and developing yourself is to know yourself and appreciate yourself. Believe it or not many people do not appreciate their life or believe they are not achieving or doing anything of value. While this may be true, the first step is to realise that what they are doing is good for them. Once they are happy with this they can move on to finding a more fulfilling life.
The firs step is get to know yourself and be happy with you!

About two years ago I was sitting in a hotel room in downtown Chicago. I was doing well in work but was unhappy in my life. I was going down a dangerous path that could potentially ruin me and I had to change but I could not.
